JUST THE TICKET

If you love movies, then you’ve come to the right place!

Writing about film, and discussing it with friends, has been a lifelong passion of mine. When the lights go down in a theater, and a larger-than-life image flickers before me on the screen, I can’t simply sit back and “watch” it. I love to analyze the filmmaking technique, and then argue with friends afterward about whether it worked or not. Long before I landed my first film critic gig, I always reviewed each new film I saw. Not because of an assignment or a deadline, but because I simply loved doing it.

Feel free to peruse through my reviews from 2005 to the present, and leave a comment if you’d like to start a discussion (I could discuss many of these films all day).

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!
